The last time in attendance, I experienced a wonderful time. However, the head of security accidentally walked into the back of my hand! I'm always welcome by the establishment and the seafood tower is delicious and quality, poolside. It just seems like one is surrounded by Raiders fans. I'm a Lions fan and overall a fan of the ceiling fan and anti-aggressive behavior. It's kindly silent behind the doors of the suites. Loiters pass at noon. Eat, don't get into the chlorine pool and get back to your room and crank the air.

I was the master of ceremonies for 14 years at the Hollywood Tropicana. It was one of the greatest places. I'm thinking about bringing it back. There's a whole new generation that needs to see this live and in person. I am Johnny Cocktails. MC

Nice poolside drinks at the Roosevelt Hotel! As the Spare Room was closed for renovations, we headed over to the outdoor Tropicana bar by the pool in the evening, which didn't disappoint! The whimsical pool-side cocktails were topped with snazzy garnishes of sliced fruit skewers. The cocktails were def on the sweeter side and a fun way to cool off in the summer heat. The Mango Colada was my pick over the draught Sangria with Blue Curacao. While the cocktails were good, the evening wasn't the best time for them and was looking for cocktails a bit more balanced but not too spirit forward. Wish there was a separate cocktail menu for the evening. Hubby enjoyed his Manhattan and the bartender was great! If you're looking for a poolside bar or night cap, Tropicana is perfect! They have food until 9pm and last call is until 10pm I believe.

I wandered in here on a Friday night with a friend after having hamburgers at the 25 Degtees hamburger restaurant in the hotel (also a fun place). It's so pretty! And there was no hassle going in; we just walked right through the hotel into the pool area. To be honest, I used to avoid visiting because I always heard it was quite sceney and crowded and they had a very notorious club promoter a few years ago. Things have changed. It was so relaxing and nice to sit outside. We just walked in past the bar and palm trees and sat by the illuminated pool and had some mixed drinks. A DJ was playing some very good music. Such a beautiful view with the palm trees and the moon and you look up at the historic hotel tower. Nice to be able to lie on the pool chairs and relax. You can even dip your feet in the pool if you want. I saw a couple people do that. For an hour you can feel like you're in the old Hollywood of the 1950s. I totally recommend this pool bar as a place to go for drinks with friends from out of town or even a date. Once you step outside the pool area and hotel you are back in the insane craziness of Hollywood Boulevard but inside the pool area it's like a little inner sanctum.

I would never think that a poolside bar would also serve the best food! It's the Hollywood Roosevelt pool, so if you're not a guest I believe you might have to pay for a pool side spot. But you can scan the QR code and have the food/drinks brought right to your spot. Their bar drinks are ON POINT! Bartenders were creative and consistent! Consistent being the best part! Mimosas were delish. Tons of patrons were drinking ‍ when I asked because the bartender just made something up for them and they loved it! So I'd trust their judgement if you can't decide. All of their food was also delish!!! Their chopped kale salad with added salmon is something that makes you want to eat healthy all the time. The dressing it was tossed in was so good, the salmon cooked nicely. Their poolside sliders were my favorite though. So much darn flavor with the pineapple and teriyaki sauce. I'd never think of putting all of that together and it was melt in your mouth. Burgers cooked to perfection. Their breakfast burrito was also super good, the menu on the app made it seem like there was hash browns inside but I didn't taste any so I'd order some on the side next time. It doesn't come with anything so just bear in mind. It was a good size but I'd like something with it.

TH is a great spot for some drinks by the pool area before going to the movie premier. Nice people working there helped us out finding the place since it is a little hard to find. Overall, the atmosphere was good and drinks were great (I think because I don't drink alcohol to keep my 7 ph!). The earl grey tea was excellent for a chilling night!! I surely will be back here for more!!

My date recommended meeting at the Roosevelt hotel for a drink. Apparently this is is one of Hollywood's classic hotels. When I entered I immediately recognized that this place has classic upscale vibes. The hotel has 3-4 different bar options. I chose to go to the poolside bar called Tropicana. It was late and chilly but they had heaters which I sat right under one. The cocktail menu was really good. I had Pomegeanate Mule and it was perfect. Might be my new favorite cocktail. The poolside ambience as also pleasant.
